September is here, and with it, students of all ages are back to school. Here in the Twin Cities, even law students are back to the grind—with Emily and Davis there to help!
DLO has been assisting with legal clinic education for the past few years & this semester, the professors are in session at both the University of Minnesota Law School and Mitchell | Hamline School of Law.
Davis continues to teach the business legal clinic at Mitchell | Hamline, providing support & oversight to second- and third-year law students as they meet with, counsel, and provide services to their first business clients.
Emily has taken on a new role at the University of Minnesota as Program Director and Lecturer at the Corporate Institute, also teaching and supporting law students as they gain vital skills before venturing into private practice themselves.
The hands-on nature of clinical education at the law schools in Minneapolis is a core component of the success of future lawyers, and we are all proud that DLO continues to support the legal community this way. Of course, Emily and Davis are still available for the needs of returning and new clients—drop us a note if you need a hand.
